The driveline has been comprehensively rebuilt to close factory specification, centred around its fully rebuilt era-correct L31 308ci V8. The M21 manual gearbox and GU4 Salisbury LSD with 3.08:1 gearing have also been restored, while supporting systems including cooling, ignition, fuel delivery, power steering, air conditioning and exhaust have all been renewed throughout the restoration process.
On the road, the vehicle delivers the smooth muscular torque curve synonymous with Holdens L31 V8, complemented by the tight mechanical shift feel of the M21 gearbox, RTS suspension tuning and confident braking performance provided by the factory four-wheel disc setup.
